Kimchi Powder Kimchi is a basic food in Korean cuisine, is a traditional side dish made with salted and fermented vegetables. The most common Napa cabbage and Korean radish, with a variety of seasonings including chili powder, green onions, garlic, ginger and jeotgal (salted seafood). There are hundreds of different kinds of kimchi based on different vegetables. In traditional formulations, kimchi was stored underground in jars to stay cool and thaw during the winter months. With the development of technology, kimchi fridges are more commonly used for the manufacture of kimchi.
Usage:
Kimchi Powder/ Perasa Kimchi/泡菜调味料 is a Korean. Sour and spicy seasoning which replaces the fermented cabbage kimchi which has a great overall flavour. It can be used in various foods such as French fries, vegetables, fried rice or noodles and popcorn, even with your homemade cracker or chips. Drizzle with green salad, mashed potatoes or soup just before serving. Add to egg dishes, like omelets, and scrambled eggs. Add them to vegetables such as cabbage, carrots or radishes start making your own kimchi.
Storage:
Keep in a clean, dry and cool place. Better to keep in the fridge.
