Cinnamon is known as ‘Kayu Manis’ in Malay and ‘肉桂’ in Chinese, While Cinnamon powder is more convenient, using whole Cinnamon sticks tends to give a fresher taste. Cinnamon sticks have higher levels of oils that make cinnamon such an irresistible. And sometimes, as with rice or cinnamon tea, it is not possible to use powder. That would make a mess.
Cinnamon is a spice obtained from the inner bark of several tree species from the genus Cinnamomum. Cinnamon is mainly used as an aromatic seasoning and flavouring additive in a wide variety of cuisine, sweet and savory dishes, breakfast cereals, snacks, tea and traditional foods.

Usage
It can be used in chocolate making, Cinnamon is often used in cooking chicken and lamb dishes. A mixture of cinnamon and sugar (cinnamon sugar) are often used to flavour cereals, bread-based foods like toast, and fruits, especially apples. Cinnamon can also be used in stripping and Christmas beverages like eggnog.
